Is the Membership right for me?
The YLN Membership program is for those who would benefit from ongoing accountability for balanced self care and improved daily vitality from a nutrition coach. This program is perfect for those who are not tending to current medical concerns but want to explore how their eating patterns, meal balance, meal preparation, and self care could improve their life quality.
If along the way we encounter some deeper medical or mental health factors that relate to nutrition, we can transfer your membership credit to one-on-one sessions with one of our team dietitians selected for their expertise in addressing your specific health concerns. You may also wish to have a consultation with one of our team dietitians about a medical or mental health concern while also remaining in the YLN Membership.

What should I expect when I sign up for the Membership?
Operating from a non-weight centered, eating disorder-informed lens, our team dietitians will coach participants on multiple topics we find are at the core of well-being for the thousands of clients we have worked with over the years. These topics include, but aren’t limited to, digestion, energy levels, sleep quality, mental focus, mobility, social connections, changing habits, and meal patterns. While many nutrition or wellness programs promote weight loss as their primary goal, we know from decades of research that this is not a productive focus and is often even harmful.
We also have decades of experience witnessing clients’ wins that come with incremental progress in daily self care. When a client suddenly finds it is easier to walk up a flight of stairs, navigate family holiday foods, notice hunger and fullness cues, and return to physical activities they once enjoyed, they in turn feel not just capable, but empowered. Sometimes weight loss occurs alongside this process.
Sometimes people move towards body acceptance or even body joy without changing the size of their body. We stand firm in reducing the shame that so often underlies our society’s guidance around “healthy habits and weight loss”. This firm stand alone makes a lasting difference in our clients’ outcomes and their lives.

Do You Offer Any Discounts?
It is our philosophy that “quick fixes” do not work and can have negative consequences on your mental and physical health. We have designed the program to have the most benefit for members who join for at least 6 months. Therefore we provide the option to pay $1,225 for 6 months at a time. This cost savings is $215 over 6 months versus paying monthly. If you have further fee inquiries, our membership intake coordinator will be happy to discuss those with you.
